Repair Office Installation Bootstrap Error



Problem:  Windows Updates continually fails to install.  Setup program provides error and quits.

Errors:  

  • Office 2013 Setup Error
  • Bootstrapper has stopped working



Solution:  
  1. Attach Office ISO or insert Office DVD.
  2. Browse to the following directory:  D:\standard.ww
  3. Run the following program:  standard.msi
That's it!
